Bellrae Marketing, a Richmond, Virginia-based full service marketing agency, announced the opening of its Arlington, Virginia office this month. The decision to expand into the Northern Virginia market comes as the company saw an increase in revenue of 50% in 2022. The team also expanded in 2022, which in turn, diversified Bellrae Marketing’s skillset and the services they provide their clients.

Carly Bell, CEO and Founder, started the company, previously called Fishpond Media, over five years ago to follow her passion for helping business owners deliver the best experiences for their customers and clients. She saw a need in the market for authentic marketing strategies that put the customers first. Her goal was to share her expertise gained from working for a private company to more like-minded business owners. Bellrae Marketing is a full-service marketing agency that also provides non-traditional marketing services, including drone videography and photography with an FAA-certified drone pilot on staff.

The Arlington, Virginia office will serve as a satellite office for the Bellrae Marketing headquarters based out of Innsbrook, Virginia. This new office will help the team provide support to all their Northern Virginia and DC-area clients. Meetings, photoshoots, video shoots, or other events can be executed from the office base, which will also serve as a hub for remote workers to come together for collaboration.

End of Year Business Evaluation and New Year Forecasting

What are your business goals? 

Smart marketing initiatives should be directly tied to your business goals for the best outcomes. Once you have a list of your business goals, you can start thinking about your marketing goals. You may decide that you want to generate high-quality leads, raise brand awareness of your business, boost brand engagement or increase returning customers. These are just a few examples of marketing goals to consider when creating your marketing strategy.

  2. Which marketing initiatives were not successful and why? Are they something that we can tweak and do better next year, or should we remove them from our new plan? 
  3. How do your marketing metrics look? This is something that should be tracked on a monthly basis, but looking at it holistically at the end of the year is always a good idea. You can compare it to the previous year and identify trends. 
  4. Even more importantly, are you on track to hit the revenue goals you set at the beginning of the year? Why or why not? 
  5. Which products or services have the best gross margin? What do you want to increase or scale back on in the new year?
  6. What changes do you need to make to hit your new revenue goal for 2023?
